6th or 7th Place Out of 30+ at GTUG Developers Weekend

Despite barely making it to the big show, with the founders testing the game just twice prior to demo time, the new Whizzlr quizbot made a very respectable showing at yesterday's GTUG competition, placing either 6th or 7th (judging by an eyeball estimate of # of vote pins in their cup and the fact that the judges placed us just outside the group of three cups that tied for third place) out of 30+ solid demos.

Due to interest and encouragement from other participants and developers, Team Whiz plans to ongoing development of The Whizzlr bot and multiple quiz versions/gadget-based interfaces prior to the rumored launch of the Wave Marketplace.

Please let them know if you've got any quiz suggestions or would like to partner in development of more complex Wave application suites.

Miracle at 1400 Crittenden: Whizzlr Hits the Big Stage!!

Team Whizzlr is breathing a deep sigh of relief as the final pieces of their collaborative gaming robot came together just in time for the GTUG Demo Presentation!
"We couldn't have done it without the help of the GTUG organizers and participants," glowed team Communicator Alvis Brigis, "Thank you to all and please vote for Team #43!"
Voting commences immediately following the conclusion of the demo (5 more minutes and counting).

20 Minutes 'til Showtime, Still No Whiz!

Other media outlets are reporting that TeamWhiz has yet to complete initial coding of the Whizzlr Alpha bot. With less than 20 minutes remaining until showtime, things are not looking good.

After an intense weekend of development, could this spell the end for TeamWhiz and all the future Whizzlrs of the world?

Update: The presentations have begun and still no Whizzlr. But CTO Alvo Stockman assures us that it's just on the verge of existing for the first time. It's now a real-deal race against the clock. Accordingly, TeamWhiz has signed up for one of the later presentation spots and is encouraging other presenters to go over their time limit...

Will this mark the end for The Whizzlr?

OMG!! Official Wizzlr Logos LEAKED!!

Just three hours prior to the GTUG Demo Finals we've received several images of what clearly appears to be the official Whizzlr logo. Though we've entered into negotiations with TeamWhiz to limit the extent of this leak, we have decided to post the following four core logo concepts.

TeamWhiz Creative Designer Alex Hagelis was not available for immediate comment.
